As for where the dolls come from and so on, the majority come from Japan and South Korea, though more and more are being made in China. As for buying them in some actual place... Hmm, Volks is the one company with a lot of real stores (in Japan, mostly). There are a few stores in the US selling a variety of dolls, but in Asia, I really don't know.. Most people have to just shop online, unfortunately Hope that was a little helpful!
